SHIPPING POLICY

We make pickles in Kerala. We send them across India. Here is everything you need to know about how your jar reaches you.

Where We Ship

We deliver across India to all states and union territories where our courier partners operate.

We currently do not ship to:

  • International addresses (no overseas delivery, including NRI markets)
  • Andaman and Nicobar Islands
  • Lakshadweep
  • Specific remote pin codes where our courier partners do not service

If your pin code is not serviceable, you will see a message at checkout. We are constantly expanding coverage. If your area is currently unserved, follow us on Instagram for updates.

Order Processing Time

We do not stockpile pickles. We make small batches and ship from our facility in Kochi. Here is the timeline from order to dispatch.

Standard orders: 24 to 48 hours from order confirmation Bulk orders or bundles of 4+ jars: 48 to 72 hours from order confirmation Pre-launch or special edition products: Timelines mentioned on product page

Orders placed on Sundays and public holidays are processed the next working day. We work Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM IST.

You will receive an email or WhatsApp confirmation when your order is dispatched, along with tracking details.

Delivery Timelines

Once your order is handed to the courier, here is approximately how long it takes to reach you. These are typical timelines based on our courier partners' standards. Actual delivery may vary based on location, weather, courier load, and external factors.

Tier 1 Metros: 3 to 5 business days Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad

Tier 1 Kerala Cities: 2 to 4 business days Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Thrissur, Kannur

Tier 2 Cities: 5 to 7 business days State capitals, major district headquarters, and similar urban centers

Tier 3 and Remote Areas: 7 to 10 business days Smaller towns, semi urban areas, and locations with limited courier reach

These timelines start the day after dispatch, not the day you place the order. Add 24 to 48 hours of order processing time before delivery begins.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on your delivery pin code and total order value. The exact shipping cost is displayed at checkout before you complete payment.

Indicative ranges:

  • Tier 1 Metros: ₹80 to ₹150 per shipment
  • Tier 1 Kerala Cities: ₹60 to ₹120 per shipment
  • Tier 2 Cities: ₹120 to ₹180 per shipment
  • Tier 3 and Remote Areas: ₹180 to ₹250 per shipment

Actual rates may vary slightly based on courier partner pricing and package weight.

Free Shipping

Free shipping applies on all orders above ₹799 across India.

This includes Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 areas. No coupon code needed. The shipping fee is automatically removed from your cart when you cross the threshold.

Below ₹799, standard shipping rates apply based on your location.

Partial Cash on Delivery (COD)

We support Partial COD on most pin codes. Here is how it works.

How Partial COD works:

  • You pay a minimum advance amount online when placing the order
  • The balance is collected by the courier in cash when the order is delivered
  • The advance amount is non refundable if you refuse the delivery or fail to pay the balance

Why Partial COD? Full COD has historically had a high refusal rate in Indian D2C, which forces us to absorb shipping costs both ways for orders that never get accepted. Partial COD ensures you have skin in the game while still letting you complete the rest of the payment on delivery.

Partial COD is available only on select pin codes. If your location is not eligible, you will need to pay the full amount online.

Order Tracking

You will receive your tracking link via:

  • Order confirmation email (from pop@pulipopfoods.com)
  • WhatsApp message (from +91 73066 27823)
  • Shopify order page (once logged in or via order lookup)

Tracking is updated by the courier partner in near real time. If the tracking has not been updated for more than 48 hours, get in touch with us and we will follow up with the courier.

Our Courier Partners

We work with established Indian courier services including:

  • Primary partner: Indian Post Office
  • Secondary partners: Amazon

The courier assigned to your order depends on your pin code, package size, and partner availability. You will see the partner name in your tracking link.

Delivery Attempts

Couriers typically attempt delivery up to 3 times before returning the package to us.

To ensure successful delivery:

  • Provide an accurate shipping address with full landmark details
  • Ensure someone is available at the address during business hours
  • Keep your phone reachable so the delivery agent can call
  • Respond promptly to courier WhatsApp or call attempts

If all delivery attempts fail and the package is returned to our facility, the order is treated as a return. Refund handling for returned packages is covered in our Refund and Return Policy.

Address Accuracy

You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.

Specifically:

  • Full name and contact number of the recipient
  • Complete address including building, street, area, city, state, pin code
  • Landmark or alternate directions for areas with limited GPS accuracy
  • Alternate contact number (recommended)

We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information. If a package is returned due to address issues, the customer bears the cost of reshipping.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your jar arrives damaged in transit, the wrong product is shipped, or the package is lost in transit, you are covered under our Refund and Return Policy.

  • Record an unboxing video before opening the package
  • Photograph the issue clearly
  • WhatsApp us at +91 73066 27823 with your order number within 48 hours of delivery

Delayed Shipments

Some delays are within our control. Most are not.

Delays we own:

  • Production delays from our end (we will communicate proactively)
  • Pickup delays from our facility (we will compensate via discount or expedited shipping)

Delays we do not own:

  • Courier partner delays
  • Weather disruptions (monsoon flooding, cyclones)
  • Festival rush (Diwali, Christmas, Onam, Eid create courier backlogs)
  • Strikes, lockdowns, or local civil disruptions
  • Pin code specific issues at the destination

We will keep you updated via WhatsApp or email for any significant delay beyond standard timelines. If a shipment is delayed beyond 14 business days after dispatch with no tracking update, it is treated as a lost shipment under our Refund and Return Policy.

Festival and Peak Season Delivery

During major festival periods (Onam, Diwali, Christmas, New Year, Eid), courier networks experience significant load. Expect delivery timelines to extend by 2 to 4 business days during these periods.

We recommend:

  • Place gift orders at least 10 to 14 days before the festival date
  • Bulk orders during peak season should be placed 14 to 21 days in advance
  • Standard timelines do not apply during peak weeks

We will announce festival cutoff dates on our website banner and Instagram channels.

Force Majeure Events

We cannot guarantee delivery timelines during events outside our reasonable control. These include but are not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (floods, cyclones, earthquakes)
  • Pandemics or public health emergencies
  • War, terrorism, or civil unrest
  • Government lockdowns or restrictions
  • Major strikes affecting logistics infrastructure

In these cases, we will communicate proactively about expected delays and offer the option to cancel for a full refund if dispatch has not yet happened.

International Shipping

We currently do not ship internationally.

If you are based outside India and want to order PuliPOP, we recommend:

  • Ordering to an Indian address belonging to a friend or family member, who can then forward it via personal shipping
  • Following our Instagram for any future international shipping announcements

We may explore international shipping in late 2026 or 2027 based on demand. We are not making promises.

Order Cancellation and Shipping

You can cancel an order before it ships. Once shipped, cancellation is not possible.
